A yearly Medicare visit focused on prevention, planning, and staying independent.

Medicare covers a yearly Annual Wellness Visit at no cost to you. It's different from a physical: the focus is on your health risks, your screening schedule, your medications, and a personalized prevention plan. Dr. Shamani also reviews memory, mood, fall risk, and daily function — the things that matter most for staying active and independent. If you're new to Medicare, a “Welcome to Medicare” visit is available in your first 12 months.
